The Granite Shield process is under a 10 year warranty on basic stones and lifetime warranty on exotic stones. These warranties cover the sealed surface against any adverse change to the sealed surface, including appearance, visual clarity and staining of the sealed surface. If any such adverse change occurs after the Granite Shield process has been applied, Granite Shield will repair and reseal the applicable surface at Granite Shield’s expense. Flooring is also under warranty for 10 years from the time of application, 5 years at 100%, years 6-10 are prorated. Countertops: Maintenance free for 10 Years!

Flooring: 5 years at 100%, years 6-10 are prorated. Expected wear will vary depending on hardness and texture of surface, type of area, surface wear, frequency and type of maintenance products used. Extreme weather conditions, harsh cleaning methods and high-alkaline, acidic or solvent-based cleaners will affect wear. Clean only with neutral stone cleaner or for longer wear use Granite Shield Rejuvenate cleaner and restorer.

Glass and stainless steel: 5 years from the time of application with periodic cleaning with Rejuvenate.

• Granite Shield seals the surface yet still lets the stone breathe.
• All countertops are under warranty by Granite Shield for the lifetime of the stone against staining.
• The Granite Shield process will increase the resistance to scratching and etching, but does not guarantee against them.
• Granite Shield does not warranty against dirt and soil accumulation on floors. Regular cleaning will be needed to keep floors looking new.
• On marble, limestone and travertine, Granite Shield reduces, but will not prevent surface wear or etching from acidic liquids such as juice, vinegar, alcohol or caustic chemicals.
